The Role

Are you a Marketing and Communications Specialist passionate about creating impactful campaigns and strategies? Do you thrive on having creative liberty and the opportunity to innovate? We are seeking a dynamic Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in promoting and building awareness of our financial planning services across Atlantic Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Campaign Management: Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand awareness. Plan and manage digital, social media, email, content marketing, and event campaigns, ensuring cohesive efforts in collaboration with the Advisory team.
  • Content Creation and Management: Create compelling content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and press releases. Manage and update website and social media content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Communication and Public Relations: Implement internal and external communication strategies to convey key messages. Draft and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other materials. Coordinate public relations activities and manage media inquiries.
  • Brand Management: Maintain and enhance brand identity and consistency across all materials. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand positioning.
  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance. Prepare reports, provide insights and recommendations, and use data-driven approaches to optimize strategies.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate events, including webinars, conferences, and client appreciation events. Manage event logistics, promotional materials, and follow-up.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the financial services or wealth management industry, with a proven track record of successful campaign management.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and website content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience with graphic design software is a plus, though not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Base Salary: $60,000 — $70,000 plus 10% bonus
