As a Regional Financial Advisor, CU Wealth Essentials, you will guide CU Financial Management members through their financial journey, 100% virtually!

We are seeking a tech-savvy, engaging, organized and innovative team player with a background in providing great financial advice and a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals. The ability to provide superior customer service and experience while adding value to our existing members is the key priority of this role. We are committed to making every interaction meaningful. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively make and take calls from new and existing insurance and investment clients, with the goal of providing holistic advice.
  • Servicing existing mutual fund accounts and account opening.
  • Looking for opportunities for CU Financial Management to offer deeper engagements with members.
  • Fact-finding and ensuring that members’ needs are matched with the appropriate level of advice and service
  • Providing members with a compelling virtual experience from start to finish that they will want to tell their friends about
  • Collaborating with team members to bring forward new and innovative ideas to make lives easier
  • Staying compliant and ensuring you maintain an organized workplace and CRM

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Mutual Fund sales and service experience
  • Insurance sales and service experience (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge and passion for financial planning
  • Experience doing business over the phone and virtually
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Mutual Fund Industry, Compliance and Dealer Operations practices
  • Availability on a variable schedule Monday to Friday between 8 am to 8 pm

Necessary Licenses

  • Valid and active Mutual Funds license
  • Valid and active Life License or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment (paid for by CU Financial Management)

Compensation: The starting salary ranges between $55,000 and $65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus a bonus opportunity of up to 30% of the base salary.
