Chao is an accomplished financial services professional with over a decade of progressive experience in the banking and wealth management sectors across Canada. He is committed to helping individuals and families build secure financial futures through personalized planning and sound investment strategies.
He held roles as Financial Planner, Branch Manager, and Financial Services Manager in his 11 years of working with national banks across Canada.
His designations include Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), and Branch Compliance Officer (BCO). He is also a Faculty Member of the FP Canada Institute, sharing his expertise and mentoring the next generation of financial professionals.
His formal education includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cape Breton University focusing on Community Economic Development, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University, plus an Art Diploma from Lambton College.
Beyond finance, Chao is a published author in the field of technology and a passionate musician, professionally trained in accordion and proficient in both the piano and tuba.
