Melissa joined the CU Financial Management team in 2025 as a summer employee and quickly applied her accounting knowledge to assist our executive team. We were so impressed with her contributions that we invited her to stay on part-time while completing her studies at NSCC.
After graduating with a Diploma in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting, Melissa joined us full-time as an Accounting Support Analyst, where she provides valuable support to our team.
She holds certifications in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Sage, and plans to continue her education by pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration and ultimately, her CPA designation.
When she’s not immersed in spreadsheets and numbers, you’ll likely find her outdoors running, often with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Piper. She’s also fond of a good novel and watching educational documentaries.
